Log data on the web server

So that we can correct any errors and the website works without problems, there are logs on the web server, where IP addresses may be stored. Like many other website operators, we also operate our website via the servers of a professional service provider. Although IP addresses do not constitute personal data in themselves, they can theoretically be assigned to individuals with the help of certain tools. In addition, the time, browser type and the page accessed are stored. These logs are deleted after one month.

Use of cookies

Our website uses "cookies". These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser and do not cause any damage. Our website uses cookies to make the website as user-friendly as possible. Some of the cookies used remain stored on your end device until you delete them yourself. This makes it possible for us to "recognize" your browser the next time you visit. Web analysis

Our website uses functions of the web analysis services Google Analytics and Matomo. The provider of Google Analytics is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Matomo runs on the servers of Studio Zmart, Zangerl Martin, Alte Gasse 9, 6580 St. Anton am Arlberg (Zmart customers using the CMS Cmart). Cookies are used for this purpose, which make it possible to analyze the use of the website by your visitors/users. The information generated in this way is transferred to the server of the respective provider and stored there.

You can also prevent this yourself at any time by setting up your browser so that it does not store cookies. Your IP address is recorded, but immediately "anonymized": this is done by deleting the last eight bits and thus only a rough localization is possible.

Data processing is based on the legal provisions of § 96 para. 3 TKG and Art 6 para. 1 lit a (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) of the GDPR. Why do we use web analytics services? We would like to continuously improve our offer and our website in accordance with the GDPR (legitimate interest). However, since the privacy of our users/website users is very important to us, the user data is pseudonymized.

Google Tag Manager

Our website also uses the so-called Google Tag Manager. This is a solution with which website tags can be managed via a single interface. Google Tag Manager is a domain without cookies and does not collect any personal data. The tool merely triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data. The tool does not access data. If deactivation has already been carried out at domain and/or cookie level, this remains in place for all tracking tags that are implemented with Google Tag Manager.

Your rights

You naturally have the right to information, deletion, correction, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.

SSL encryption

This website uses SSL encryption ("Secure Sockets Layer", SSL for short) for various security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content. You can recognize this encrypted connection by the "https://" instead of the usual "http://" in the URL of the website and the "lock symbol" in your browser line. If this SSL encryption is activated, all data that you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
